Post Office close to collapse

Why do grant recipients need to go to the post office? I'm pretty sure a sassa card works like a normal debit card and you can just spend the money loaded on it anywhere.

Cash is king.

You would think in 2023 there are better ways to send someone money than for them to stand in a queue.

My postal address is still at the PO that no longer operates. All my fines, official correspondence, final warnings, water tax accounts and any other government junk mail gets sent there. I'm done with doing their job for them. You want to communicate with me? Make sure the PO works. Otherwise piss off. No comms from them are in any way important or relevant to me. Social contract works both ways.

Two branches close to me closed. Last year I had to go to ghetto post office to renew my licence disc. There were whores outside.

Even the ghetto branches won't survive for much longer, it seems.

Foolish move. The whores provide great value-add.

Does the SASSA grant go that far nowadays, or are the ho's that cheap there??

Also, do the Silver- and Platinum SASSA cards also expire soon? (I guess the Black SASSA card never expires).

*dons deadpan face*

And a computer system let them store and print that date... How they survived 01/01/2000 is a mystery lol.
There is nothing wrong with the date 28/2/2024, so off course the computer system will let them store and print that. If it was 29/2/2025 then you might have had a point.
