Yeah, reverse the charge. They should have couriered it. What were you ordering from RUssia anyway? SS-20 parts?![]()

Ok now, the parcel tracking number is something like this:
CA00xxxxxxxRU
Here: http://ladaparts.ru/store/track.php
it shows as:

SAPO's reply to my enquiry on the RU tracking number:
"Good day XXXXXXX,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Kindly note there is no record of this item being received in S/A."
Can any of the experts here solve my riddle? Specific tracking number does not compute on any of the web adress links on this thread. So what now?
Pieterjie,we already have this argument..

Ok, what happens if a parcel is sent from overseas to SA, it shows that it has left the country of origin about a month and half back, yet SAPO say that they have no record of the (foreign) tracking number ever arriving in SA.
How the heck is one supposed to know where the parcel is then?

Exactly the response I got for my package from Korea - do you believe them? - I certainly don't.Kindly note there is no record of this item being received in S/A."

None of the above helps in this case.Check your trackingno here (if they use ems)
http://www.ems-garantpost.cnt.ru/cgi-bin/ems.pl
Or else phone that 086 no and ask them if the trackingno is valid,NOT if the parcel is in SA.
Last try contact www.russianpost.ru for a detailed tracking report.
From some countries the export of motor parts are not allowed.
Complete EMS tracking (for future reference)

I think that you need to get your sender to refund you or resend the
item, they can claim compensation from their post office who can
go fight SAPO. Most reputable shops do this, even if they don't say
so on their website.
I have enough experience in international package services to and from a number of countries to advise all those seeking advice on this to use what Peter has presented in this thread.
Done that already, no response from the vendor, so I contacted VISA with all the proof in writing and they are busy reversing the charges.Hehe, I can see why you have to deal with these guys then.
Anyway since it's been so long you should give them an ultimatum,
if they don't reply or bother helping you, reverse the charge before its
too late to do so.

JustAsk;2106806@Generator man YOUR reading skills are just plain fcked up otherwise you would see where i was going to with that little free advice. [/QUOTE said:With all due respect, if you read my post where I said that the EMS links don't work with my tracking number, you wouldn't have suggested that i try the same now would you?
Anyways, it seems that you need to prove that you are right at all costs. As I said before, thanks for the advice, did it help? No. But thanks nonetheless.
@Peter
Look, the question was where to get the new tracking detail, local or intl.- you phone 086
If the problem was that your parcel got stuck at customs, then yes,you phone customs.
