I have tried to enter their depot address in Slough in the amazon UK and it keeps telling me that the code is incorrect.
Did you experience any problems with this?
 
Trying them out for the first time but so far no too impressed. Gary is on-top of his game but the guys at the US depot just seem to be dragging their feet. Package was delivered Monday but the site hasn't been updated to let me know they recieved the package.
Ordered via Have2Have, same item but an odd R200 more and waiting to see which between the two arrives first.
 
Last week my stuff shipped from the US depot in no time. It was received by HABBA on Monday (in NJ), paid on Tuesday morning and was at my office on Thursday afternoon.

This week however is a different story. Received at the depot on Tuesday but still not reflecting on the website. I even email Gary to let him know every time the shippers courier delivers at the respective warehouse.

Maybe Habba is not habbing a good week.
 
Ok spoke to Gary and my stuff as well as plenty of other goods are already on their way despite the website not reflecting the goods as received.

Sadly though, last week's shipment included a bunch of very heavy industrial lawn mower parts that I had not ordered. The box must have broken at the shippers depot and then the other parts stuffed into my box. I paid about R650 extra to ship my stuff because of the added weight.

You win some and you lose some.
 
Just spoke to Gary aswell, it seems my Roku is on-route to London currently even though the site said otherwise.
 
Will do. Comparing with Have2Have which totals R1700 odd. At the moment, just the Roku alone was just under R1200(1167.64). Shipping should be R220..waiting to see what custom costs are.
 
From people who have used PostBox-Courier.com would you guys recommend I use them to import a laptop from the states or someone else?
 
The courier costs are more from the States than from the UK but if you can live with this then I highly recommend them. Gary does a fine job.

Total costs were R965.22 + 320 = R1285 for just the Roku which is substantially less then Have2Have which is R1600. I didn't pay any custom fees but that's because the package was only valued at $37 for some reason.

Gary was on the ball and was a little surprised it had arrived today after hearing it had only arrived in London, late on Friday. Will def be using them again.

Cool cool! The laptop I've looking to buy is about R4000 cheaper than here in the US and the Uk's pretty much the same price as here!

depends on the actual value imo
saving 4k on a laptop that costs 8k locally might be worthwhile
on the other hand saving 4k on a 30k laptop might not be that great esp if they nail you at customs...

the 4k is after projected VAT, duty and shipping charges

Based on the shipping weight of 7.5 pounds and an estimated box shape of 30x40x15 it will cost you $56 for shipping. Duties may be 10% and then VAT on top of that.

Thanks dude. I assume it's (cost+vat)*Duties.

And the packages are fully insured if I remember correctly
 
Looks like the USA depot's address has changed again.

Wish Gary would at least send out an email about this.
