PostBox-Courier.com how to

Anyone heard from these guys recently? I have a package that's AWOL in the UK and no response via email or phone.
 
When last did you try? They are 2 hours behind (I think) so maybe Gary has only arrived at the office (walked into his lounge) now.

Let us know though.
 
Parcels don't go Awol, unless a courier messed up the delivery and in most cases he helps to find them
 
They do, actually I speak from experience here, but correct it's the couriers fault. Don't EVER use an unsigned for courier service, that's just a ticket for AWOL.

Gary will always do whatever he can to assist.

Yeh I had one get lost in NJ when he was there , vanished, courier dropped it who knows where, supplier issued a refund.
 
Used Gary last week on two seperate orders, from the UK and the US - and he was an absolutely star. The billing is a bit opaque though, if I assume import duties and tax I get why they charge that inflated price for the US shipments. It would be nice if there was a breakdown of sorts of the costs.
 
Just had another parcel delivered form the UK recently, no problems - I bought the item Wednesday last week, PBC received it Friday morning, I had it Monday morning first thing - big thumbs-up PBC!

I haven't tried calling yet so may do that later today.

Yeh in regular contact, last I heard from him was a couple of days ago. He usually answers all emails so he probably didn't get yours.

That sucks. But it must be difficult trying to manage that side of things from across the pond.
 
Amazon will still ship if the goods are deemed to be worthy of Global Shipping. If Amazon doesn't sell the item directly, that when you have shipping problems.

So what's the alternative to PBC in the mean time or is this just a way of telling me to curb my overseas spending :-(

No, never ever curb spending.
Gary will probably have this sorted out soon.
 
I booked a parcel to the USA depot on postbox-courier.com when it was still available, and this parcel is still en route to the USA depot. I believe that they will still send this parcel to me?

Is there any kind of local contact number, or must I use the UK number listed on their website to confirm this?
 
Gary said he will honour existing bookings, so no worries on your side.
