Potential licensing hurdle in Convergence Bill

all valid points other than for the fact that the latest draft of the Bill has removed all references to content and content services...so the topic is a bit of a dead duck
despite all the panic which was put into the market place by service providers it remains my position that there was never any intention to try and control content services and content through a licensing regime
/the licensing chapter of the bill has been dramatically improved - will try and find some time to put up a post explaining where it is at and how providers like VANS are likely to fit in

Hmmm... points to the necessity of remaining on top of things and accepting this as an absolute imperative, irrespective. I perceive some future chaos, given the growing number of public pronouncements by overnight legal experts - they seem to be coming out of the woodwork all over the media place. No doubt, some interesting aspects are being tackled, witness the property rights issue...
