I just saw them taking down the power lines on Allendale and also some idiot took out a main box last night - probably drunk
Vodacom would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the sale of alcohol to this driver (real or not) and for the fact that he obtained a drivers license. Furthermore we are deeply sorry that a car was manufactured and sold to the individual.
Vodacom is not trying to pass the buck here and will take all steps required to rectify this unfortunate chain of events that caused some of our systems to be down this morning, so as not to happen again.![]()

I just spoke to Vodacom, and they said that there are now network problems. There are indeed electricity issues in Midrand, but it did not affect the Vodacom network.
I assume that's the reason why we had no connectivity this morning?
