Sweet ,there is but your laptop is to old or you dont know how to do it .besides why would you want to overide the manufacturers software ,you most certainly dont know enough about batteries to be able to do that , if it was advantageous for the battery dont you think Dell would give you that option on your machine .You know zilch about Dells battery composition and charging circuits but you want to fiddle and then when something fails you will call it a kak product .
