This is not city power here.Definitely not normal slots. On Stage 3, you should have the same slot 3 times in a 4-day band, in stage 4, the same slot 4 days in a row etc.

Good storyWhat do you mean not normal. We used to not have below stage 4, now we have from stage 1.
Not on City Power - I am on the luxurious power grid (CoCT) with lower stages of LS than Eishkom. Last had any LS on Monday and don't plan to have until 4pm on Friday, but that is due to Steenbras and not due to weird LS schedules. This is not city power here.
Basically that's still what you're having. What do you mean not normal. We used to not have below stage 4, now we have from stage 1.
Here's normal. 4 - 6 hours on Stage 3. Not City power or CoCT. EC over hereWhat do you mean not normal. We used to not have below stage 4, now we have from stage 1.

Welcome to the Eastern Cape, where everything is upside down and nothing works.Odd numbers
Same here!
In the next version they should add functionality that let's you modify the notification sound based on the type of notification. I.e. when the stage suddenly increases, play a louder much more intense notification sound.
I think I'm screwed anyway as I'm at the 6pm peak today. Have some little PC UPS's arriving today to keep the 2 TV's and office up while changing over to backup inverter suicide cable. So, what massively looks like a worsening situation yesterday, then some peeps in Jo'burg didn't go off at 10pm
Will be interesting to see what develops

They are only being used to keep the tv on for 1 minute while i flip some breakers around, then the 200Ah LFP 1000W PSW inverter takes over. My internet is on ultralan DC ups.I can't be bothered with UPS's anymore, their batteries go too quickly. And using TV's on them drains them fast!
We just use a specialised battery unit to keep our ADSL router up when needed, and use online options for what we can't record for TV.
I guess even if they keep things stable enough it's never worth trusting Eskom & co. again, so still planning for some future batt./solar system.

Wonder who those people were, cause that's lucky. We went off at 6 to 8So, what massively looks like a worsening situation yesterday, then some peeps in Jo'burg didn't go off at 10pm

Why not just get that plug that does an auto switch over?I think I'm screwed anyway as I'm at the 6pm peak today. Have some little PC UPS's arriving today to keep the 2 TV's and office up while changing over to backup inverter suicide cable.

because then I have to rewire the house and I'm poor so I just drop the main switch, pool pump, geysers and fridge breakers then turn the plug feeding the inverter off and the inverter plug on and all the lights and everything else like ceiling fans still work. It's like muscle memory now.Why not just get that plug that does an auto switch over?
I don't like that idea, just gotten used to you being around...because then I have to rewire the house and I'm poor so I just drop the main switch, pool pump, geysers and fridge breakers then turn the plug feeding the inverter off and the inverter plug on and all the lights and everything else like ceiling fans still work.
