In 'clever' countries there are people who look at weather forecasts, and estimate the demand for heating and cooling. In SA we have ministers who hope for the best. See:

Fortunately I’m out of the country till end of the month. But I think it will get worse this year..

No water for a week in JHB and now stage 6. Im sure anc will do fantastic in next years elections.

I had an expectation for stage 4, but stage 6 was like completely left field as I didn't expect this many breakdowns

Which is why I think we'll be back down again already tomorrow, maybe a day later. They should get some of it fixed quickly.

Seems the higher level of LS the more delays in returning power sigh... In the last month we've had power back by 5 minutes past latest, now it's 11 past and still nada.
