poweralert stage 2.....

My area has now been 56 hours without power and still no resolution in sight.

Now I do wonder if it's stage 6 but 2 hours slots, do they still get load limit, or do they just get loadshedding like the rest of us from 2pm?
Sorry, I forgot you all haven't read the article.

He only spoke about his home, but seems it isn't being load limited in the experiment and yet they've had nothing at all... until yesterday anyway.

@wingnut771 @Lupus
Remember the earlier confusion - one of you wondered if they could even find a way to turn off some substations with this experiment going on. Looks like they didn't :laugh:

But still just guesswork at this stage.

True that, but at some point the ambient temperature becomes uncomfortable. Maybe my circulation is not that great anymore. When the tip of my nose starts freezing I can't sleep. Any remedies for that apart from upping ambient temperature?
Here ya go...

I read it, but as you said, it's before Stage 6. So I'm curious how they will handle Stage 6 2 hour blocks. Will it be treated like Stage 6 or Stage 4?

I got the idea 4 hour blocks will be switched off and 2 hour blocks will stay one with the limit. I guess we'll find out today/tomorrow :laugh:

Makes sense in theory. Practically they may all be doing better than Durbs now, lol

No water for a week in JHB and now stage 6. Im sure anc will do fantastic in next years elections.
As horrible as it is to say. Majority of SA citizens need to suffer and continue to suffer so they can be reminded to change their vote. We have people like below.

A few of those on this forum with some direct knowledge of the mass of KZN rural voters tell us they're forced to vote ANC by their leaders.
And changing anyway now, let's hope fast enough..
