JHB water lol, councillors had a long meeting with them this morning. We will only get water when our reservoir is at least 3/4 full and eikenhof is stable, and they are estimating eikenhof to only fully recover in worst case 10 days, best case scenario 5, it then takes 5 days (something we experience every few weeks as of late) for our system to then stabilize and our taps to even have a smidgen of water at night, days after that will we actually have water during the day normally again. We have a water truck scheduled for the area every day for the next 2 weeks if the above isn't telling enough...

I guess it doesn't help if the pumps only run 10 hours a day.

Most of us call that 10 hours, we don't really count the extra half hour although a few suffer more from that than most.

Well we had 4 hour slots up till so the 2 hour slots were only short lived :)
 
@TheChamp , do the authorities in our country ever do anything wrong?

Just wondering 'cos I don't think I've ever seen you take the side of the consumer / citizen.
