Yes, off for 5 mins around 8:15pm. Someone was stuck in the lift, but got out when power came back. I was just about to phone Schindler. Totally unscheduled, though CT has just moved to stage 6 (no Steenbras), and power will go off at 10pm.

Edit: Generally we are like clockwork, and returns after slot ends, unlike parts of Joburg...

That is true - I was worried then that we'd gone to Stage 8 suddenly. The intern swapped the Friday and Saturday schedules around. I'd have been really miffed if we had to endure an additional 4h session tonight as we already have 2x 4h sessions tomorrow. If you have the ESP app, check the rage (quite justified) when it went off. People were mad as hell.

We have learned to adapt to load shedding, particularly thanks to ESP, but when power goes off unexpectedly it is a bit dramatic.

Same thing on Mon 10th. My cousin was working on installing another battery for his inverter, when suddenly the house went dark as load shedding kicked in at 1pm.
