Depends. This thread - he's had a really bad time with Eskom & co. compared to your or my issues.I'm pretty sure there are plenty worse hells than SA.
Depends on what? He somehow managed to escape his 'hell' so it could not have been that hellish.Depends

Laughs in north riding. He can cry me a river. There are, but he seemed to have far more electricity outages above and beyond the official LS schedule.
Move out of Alex then.Feel free to look up my post history @RunningFromFat. Looking past the power issues, we had an insane surge in violent contact crime a few months back after we started experiencing 14+ hour blackouts, especially at night. Was so bad I sent the family out of the country. It's not a case of "oh no SA bad waaa", I spent nearly a month staying up all night with a shotgun in my office or sleeping with my EDC loaded under my pillow. Not doing that again. Ever.

Doesn;t look to bad up here over the following weekWinter has one last sting, as a cold-front passing Cape Town on Fri 25th, will push up through the southern and eastern half of SA (bringing light snow to the mountains), and reaching into Zimbabwe by Sun 27th:
