poweralert stage 2.....

I'm actually furious they implemented stage 6 during the daytime when it was needed the entire week. We suffer enough LS as it is and Eskom should be well aware if their role in destroying the economy for every upgrade in stage.
Yup same honestly, it could've been lower stages during the day and stage 6 at night. I am still trying to figure out why they even bother having stage 6 from midnight anyway.
Honestly Eskom really need to figure things out and how to run things, it could've gotten away with stage 4 during the day and stage 6 from 4pm to midnight, there was plenty of generation available from Midnight, but nooo, stage 6 slapped on everything, the costs to companies and people every time it's running the entire day on mental health and financial health is immense. Traffic is a nightmare when power is out for 4 hours, this entire week I've arrived at the office in the dark and left in the dark, there's been maybe 4 hours of power during a working day.

Guys, it's clearly a push to do as much maintenance as they can. And as badly orchestrated as most of everything else they do, they aren't even lying about the figures properly.

Squirrel's reaction suggests the whole country feels the same as us, of course. Maybe they'll back down more soon

Sure I mean someone poked him to get him to say something... Otherwise he'd not have done anything.

That's the thing I'm most tired of - no awaited changes announcements until the last bloooody moment!!

Do you mean like Mon 11th and Tues 12th, when a major cold-front passes over the entire country, and pushes up into Zimbabwe:

The really big cold fronts tend to come from the South in my understanding. They can either skim the country, in which case just the South-Western edge of the country gets nailed in the extreme skims or, as you show there, they can smash into the entire country and wash over Gauteng as well.

I can't recall the last time I heard of a cold front hitting just Gauteng. I'm not exactly a weather guru but it doesn't seem very possible. A front hitting just Cape Town and leaving the rest of the country largely unimpacted happens often.

fill this thread up chop-chop to 10k... the next one will be poweralert stage 3... and so on...

so if you want to get it to stage 6, you got some seri-ass postwhoring to do...
Good Lord. I'm gonna have to call in the Syrian Electronic Army to get us there by the end of the year. Or the Fancy Bears.

Lemme make some calls. I'll be back. Hopefully.

Wait. I have Hector Monsegur's number somewhere.
