Well you see that was a plan the DA put into place, now we have

Running it with his puppet masters, I mean he literally actually looks like a muppet.
I wonder how Bree street is doing?

Repairs haven't even started:

And somehow it's going to take 18 months to fix

I mean only in SA, other countries 18 days is a stretch.

Mentioned this before, but we had a massive sinkhole in my area last week or so. Repairs began the same day, completed the next day.

This was a sinkhole that caused underground fuel leaks. It wasn't something simple. Still fixed in under 1 day basically.

This is how things should work. 18 months is pathetic. You know it won't be 18 months either. 2 years from now that road is still going to be unusable.

I stayed in Medellin in Colombia for a month early 2019. One night there was this noise from the road down below (was on the 12th floor). There was a team working at 11pm to fix a pothole before the traffic the next day..

Not saying the delay for Bree is justified but your one day repair sinkhole sounds like a fairly simple job if it was indeed repaired in one day.

Welcome to the ANC messing around, they took CoJ from the DA thanks to the smaller parties, so now we suffer.

For sure. I'm not saying they're directly comparable. Bree street obviously a little more complicated. More civils to do. However it's not rocket science.

It's been 4 months at this point though and repairs still haven't started. I don't care how complicated the job is it's incompetence that repairs haven't started yet.

So is Bree St.

Step 1: Remove broken surface.
Step 2: Repair tunnel.
Step 3: Reconnect pipes.
Step 4: Resurface.

3 months max.

And that is Colombia of places, but remember this is Africa and we cannot have any form of Western ethics.
