Ours may take the cake yet - we start with a 6pm to 8pm session

So supposedly 6 hours off in an 8 hour period, and on the moderate stage 2. Madness
Block 14 is getting shafted in Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening with these shite double sessions.

Willing to bet a R100 bucks that the substations are going to trip one after the other with days waiting for it to be fixed, just so that it can happen again the following day

City power is so overloaded with trips and things breaking we have been told by our SDC manager to expect a minimum ETR of 2 days for a trip and 3 days if things break, pretty much what I thought was going to happen is happening with them not being able to attend outages because of how everything is overlapping now.

Yeah take it with a grain of salt, areas have tripped and been put back on within an hour or two.

My brain can't cope with this level of stupid, even stupid people know this whole thing is stupid.

*shuts down*

Dunno about other areas, this was just from our service delivery centre, and so far it checks out. The other side of the road which is on block... 11/12/13/14 (one of them now I don't actually know which one they are on now), hasn't had power since Monday lol

Yeah, I don't know next week if it goes to stage 4, I'm basically at stage 6, if it's stage 3 it's stage 5... but remember this is for less shedding, you get all your shedding done in a few days

Other reasons, there was a big storm

We got power back late afternoon yesterday. Early this morning something blew up. And so no power again.

Locals are ready to burn **** at this rate.

Yup, yet City Power still think their schedule is great, yet it's putting strain on areas like yours.

Definitely putting strain on the whole system. I feel sorry for the ward councillor; people shouting at him for answers and for him to do something. The fail to realise he is nothing more than a spokesperson for the community with direct lines to city services.

City Power know their **** is broken; a ward councillor isn't going to help them magically fix ****.

They now want a meeting with the CEO.

That might actually help, yeah at least your ward councillor is answering, ours literally just does the bare bare minimum.

Yeah that dude works his butt off. If we don't hear from him during an issue like this, it's odd.

Well, they've confirmed that the brand new mini-sub they put in, blew up.

I've stopped draining my batteries overnight until this **** is sorted. Rather not worry if the weather is going to be good enough for the PV - and making sure the batteries are full by the evening.

They're at 80% now. So I know this evening we should have them at 100%.

I'd be surprised if we have power tonight.
