Lowest EAF since May... Yeah look at how well Eskom is doing, I mean they literally lost 3% since last month, unplanned outages sitting at 4% higher, what the hell happened in Nov? It's not extra maintenance.

They dropped their planned maintenance by something like 2GW. I wonder if that isn't the issue.

They've fallen back to their tried and tested failing approach of maintain as little as possible and burn diesel.

Don't think so, as even when maintenance was at 13% it was still BS

If you had to ask me my opinion, its like this-
Someone told Ramadingdong and his friends what the people think of them, and I think they went "Oh shiiiiiiiit! "Hau we betta do someting".
They are probably running the generation fleet flat out, foot to the floor, pedal to the metal, as they have done in the past. When the inevitable breakdowns occur, y'all going to see what Stage 7 or 8 feels like.
It is inevitable, not only because of the ANC, but because African countries all go one way, and it's not up!
Is that you, Ted Blom?

That mystical period where we had no loadshedding coincided with the drop in maintenance levels.

Since that period it's been downhill at a rate we're not used to seeing from Eskom.

I'm not saying correlation equals causation. I'm just pointing out there is definitely correlation.

Actually it was when they burnt a lot of diesel and kusile was "up" that didn't last, only 9 days, we've had a total of 12 days of no LS this year.

Even a fool like me can see it just at a glance
