That sucks. Your ward councilor makes a big difference in helping to resolve these issue.

I don't think it does. We have a massive old rain water tank (if I had to guess, about 20 000l) with no lid that the ex owners used for breeding koi fishes that looked like a swamp when we moved in. 1 x chlorine floater and now its crystal clear.

A floater is different to chucking in chlorine

I've had a pool 6 years don't need experiment, in weather like this you need to circulate the chlorine as rain effects the balances. I would need to spend 600 bucks worth of chlorine and use a brush to mix the chlorine and do that every few hours

Yup, his excuse is he doesn't work for City power, jhb water or what ever entity we have issues with. We mustn't fight with him, we must fight with the entity...
Like wtf, firstly that is precisely the role of the ward councilor to fight for his ward, secondly how are we supposed to fight the entity??

650k, also they will get the 1k connection/network fee even if they don't supply it. Cause 1k for electricity usage in a suburban home is what a week if you don't have solar?

That sounds like pretty much every ward councilor I've ever had the displeasure to deal with.

Always there for a photshoot and catching the limelight, but as soon as they are needed to do actual work they dissappear like a fart in the wind.
