I did finally get a smartphone handed down to me, but I don't leave it on and only use it on our wifi.
You should still download ESP from the app store. It doesn't use much in space or usage, is easy to use and quick to update. They do show the schedule up to a week but I only pay attention to the initial 3 days it brings up.

You can also create a load shedding timetable in excel, print it out and keep it on your fridge. Especially if you have an unscheduled power outage and Eskom decides it starting loadshedding or escalating it is useful to have especially if you have no access to your internet during an outage.

Thanks, but we do have it on another phone. Mostly we use a spreadsheet I make myself.
