poweralert stage 2.....

Now the 2am stage 3 announcement makes sense, what they mean by "replenishing emergency reserves" is probably running out of diesel as hardly any pumped hydro was used:

Ours have been off now for 18 hours and counting, tickets logged to City Power just immediately get closed. Calls and messages on twitter fall on death ears. No one knows wtf is going on

I'm old enough to remember when city power guaranteed service within 2hrs... then went to 4hrs several years back... now its 3-4 days
