Here is 22 months of Eskom EAF, so this would cover a portion of ADRs term, from April 2022 to Jan 2023, the mean average was 31.06%.
Let's look April 2023 to January 2024 mean average is 32.59% with some months hitting almost 40%.
I'll grant them that planned maintenance has gone from 10.33% to 11.37%, but when taking into account that maintenance and unplanned outages from April to January sitting at 43.96%, while ADR was 41.39%, both aren't great, but one is higher... Which one

It's obvious, isn't it?
They have to cover their own asses now that ADR stirred the pot with what's going on inside of Eskom. They have to do what they can to make sure "things are better now that ADR is gone," or they'll look like muppets.

The article uses the timeframe of Nov. 2023 to Jan. 2024. A bit unfair as then when all the Kusile units were back up.

Sounds like a mistake, S3 is "reserved" for nighttime when used currently and if more urgent would start much earlier.
