Haha yeah this schedule in Jhb is ****ed beyond compare. My area, twice a day loadshedding on stage two, block 5 that is right next to us has 0 loadshedding until Friday if the stages stay what it is now.

Haha yeah this schedule in Jhb is ****ed beyond compare. My area, twice a day loadshedding on stage two, block 5 that is right next to us has 0 loadshedding until Friday if the stages stay what it is now.

Stage 2 is up to 2 sessions a day. But thanks to the wisdom of CP and their schedule they've decided that it must be in the morning and the evenings. When we were at stage 6, their wisdom had me at 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening for up to 4 days. Whereas the old one would mix it up a bit, the old schedule would've spread a bit better.
Block 5 would've been shed in the afternoons at stage 2, so remember they "rotate" the blocks so that its supposedly fair. But the problem is that they didn't put any thought into that schedule and it's a balls ache.

Whenever I see a break in our loadshedding schedule, I know Eskom is going to increase the level just to annoy me. They never fail.

Their latest feedback report backs me up:

Saw some of the videos, quite a lively farce.

I was there.

Here is my report:

Cllr Jacques Hoon, who never introduced himself opened the meeting.

My God is he a horrible, unlikeable person who just doesn't know when to shut TF up.

He went on and on and on about what the meeting wouldn't cover.

We were there to hear from City Power.

He waffled on about off topic crap for 30 minutes.

He never once mentioned what would be discussed or the format.

Finally after 30 minutes of his drivel guys started asking if he could shut up and introduce City Power.

He threw a hissy fit which enraged the crowd.

He really is a first class idiot.

Finally he introduced the main guy from CP who had brought a team of top guys with him..

They were great, not all good at addressing a large audience, but they got their points across.

Then it came to question time and Jacques ran that. It was a stuff up.

He would take 4 or 5 questions then get CP to answer.
Rather than Q then A then Q then A.

Because of the stupidity of the format many felt that the questions weren't answered and Jacques kept trying to answer, but really, defend.

The crowd got angry.

Finally a black lady at the back started asking a question and Jacques tried to shut her down as she wasnt next, but the crowd were behind her as she was making some brilliant points, but she did go on a bit, probably out of anger.

All hell broke loose.

Jacques had 2 ladies with him assisting him, an older thin lady and a younger one like a bright yellow beach ball.

The crowd were incensed and a white guy started attacking the Cllr because we wasted so much time listening to his drivel when CP were giving us great info.

This white guy was filming as he laid into the Cllr. The crowd were behind him.

The two ladies charged up and yellow beach ball attacked the man trying to Snatch his phone. The old duck pulled a gun and pointed it at the guy.
The crowd lost it.
She put the gun back but pulled it again.

We all started leaving slowly.

Dozens of people filmed it.

I think that's the end of Jacques.

I'll definately attend the next meeting.

Two & a half hours of fun and intrigue.

Yep same here, block 10 finally getting a break from Friday for a day or two and I just know that by Friday we'll get the news that loadshitting will be increased to level 3 or 4 to refill the reservoirs and what not.
