I'm curious with this cut-off low over the country bringing in lots of clouds if we see the normal mid day dip on eskom charts flattens out due to poor solar harvests.

Okay so if they don't manage to bring some units back up LS tomorrow night. Sitting at 25GW whereas yesterday we were over 26. Though it is a Sunday the 25GW cuts it really close

Nah, the diesel tanks are full and are ready to drain the coffers before wednesday. They will want to keep the good story going for as long as possible.

Psychologically, assuming this is all manipulated by the State (which I doubt), it would be worse for them to give us 2 or 3 weeks of no Loadshedding in early April, then bring back Loadshedding in the 4 or 5 weeks before the Election.

So, if this is contrived they either have to keep it up until the 29th of May, or, if they can't, they should have done this closer to the election.

I seriously doubt the state has anything to do with this lack of Loadshedding.

Not good to remind the electorate of the good old days....

These okes have ZERO foresight, so its all happening "naturally".

But by 6pm it was back at 20GW, obviously during the morning they ramped down when not needed. Too much power can be just as dangerous as too little, remember they gotta keep that 50hz.
That is when you pump water back. By 11pm it was back down to 17.5GW.

Those people prefer the misinformation, they are not interested in factual information, you can't make up tall, legendary tales from facts.
Also how much do they think the OCGTS generate??

Presume that people put too much emphasis on the OCGTs 'cos they're always at the tip of the adjustment iceberg.

How many are really in use at any given time is a valid question though it seems..
