I didnt choose this day because it was a public holiday i believe?

The week however went from a low of 28.5 to a high of 31. The high was the startup from a long weekend and possibly a cold front.

Yeah but it was also stage 6, so there is probably a demand shift of 2GW, load shedding actually adds Demand shift as well

Are you telling me the economy hasn't contracted?

Im saying you can no longer tell by just going off the eskom figures. If you want to see the performance of the economy there are better metrics.

@Brian_G and other conspiracy theorists, they are going to install the generator at Medupi, it is going to add something into the grid, further improving the loadshedding situation.

Just putting it out there so that you can factor it in when you are formulating your legendary tall tales.

confusios says- conspiracy not about electricity but politics

Maybe but that would just be speculation at this point. We will get a better idea in a few months for the stats from the first quarter and a while longer for stats in the 2nd quarter.
Indeed. Also, 12 hours a day of no power and double digit increases will destroy many small businesses.

Strange how the closures reached a noticeable peak just before elections. Hmm
