There's still vps and ils on top of thatThat is called LC. The harshest they have is stage 4 and we are already there. So I’m not sure how that works then.
The problem is, they are creating the load, even city power is now saying keep your inverter unplugged while we try bring up power.Whilst the theory may hold; Eskom won't have a choice if they go over the edge. The other day they used 19 OGCT's + Stage 6 + LC stage 4.
They were literally maxed out on cutting the load - if demand had spiked more; they'd have no choice to go to stage 7, regardless of the diminishing returns.
I thought that is the same thing? Please point to LC on the generation graph. There's still vps and ils on top of that
So any chance of coming off stage 4/6 during week....ever?
They are at the point of strip the country bare phase as they aren't going to be hereDon't quite understand your reasoning here?
Constant stage 6 is political suicide. They'd want to keep the stages as low as possible, at least until next year's elections.
That's 200 days from next year, not the current outageAt the same time, Koeberg down for a further 200 days is very worrying and would make even less sense. Will things collapse after the vote?
ANC pulled the plugWhat ever happened to those mini pebble bed reactors, did they turn out as misleading as was believed when it was in the news?
Think it's ios excl mlr and ilsI thought that is the same thing? Please point to LC on the generation graph.
Yep, just after the vote I think. That's 200 days from next year, not the current outage
Hey at least it rained another 24mm down here last night. I hope it rained in the catchment areas too. It's actually raining right now.No matter the weather we're in this together.
Is it snowing in Dubai?
A 6 hour dayOh actually **** this. Off 0200-0600, then 0800-1600 ("planned maintenance") then 2000-0000.
