"Permanent" was a temporary plan until enough repairs / maintenance had been done.

As for Durbs... already explained to you by @wingnut771 , why do you still think they're shedding more now... strange.

Interestingly the EU - which is considered the 'world leader' in greenie nonsense - considers natural gas as 'green energy' despite vocal opposition: https://theconversation.com/natural...unt-it-as-a-green-investment-heres-why-175867

So the SA government should just the EU standard here. End of story. This probably has alot to do with internal politics of the EU, with Germany using alot of natural gas and being the effective leader of the EU (along with France). They also consider nuclear as green energy (again - France is the biggest user of nuclear in the EU). All explained by politics...

I wonder why they keep reporting dispatchable IPP availability and then list other renewables etc. Are those Eskom or IPP? I mean if only 1000 is dispatchable why even list the others? Seems a little like tautology. And I'm sure CSP isn't Eskom. Unless that dispatchable availability doesn't include the other renewables for some reason? As in the rest of the listed renewables are non-dispatchable.

Scratch that, I see that renewables are by definition non-dispatchable.
