If you had to ask me my opinion, its like this-
Someone told Ramadingdong and his friends what the people think of them, and I think they went "Oh shiiiiiiiit! "Hau we betta do someting".
They are probably running the generation fleet flat out, foot to the floor, pedal to the metal, as they have done in the past. When the inevitable breakdowns occur, y'all going to see what Stage 7 or 8 feels like.
It is inevitable, not only because of the ANC, but because African countries all go one way, and it's not up!
Doomsday prophet.

Well, we will see, won't we. Do you honestly believe South Africa is "so speshial" that what has happened in the rest of Africa won't happen there?
Yes we are that speshial, we have what the rest of Africa doesn't have, people like you who are that desperate to see their Doomsday prophecies come true, it is what inspires us to always step up so that you never get the satisfaction and remain forever miserable.

Oh we all know what your opinion is, its not like you don't stand on the roof tops and shout it out all over the place.
I'm still not even sure what he's doing here? It really does feel like someone just here to gloat that he's no longer here.

My guess is he's one of those expats who needs to try justify his decision to himself by showing the world how crap SA is.

He needs justification for him leaving, it's the only reason he even remains here.

That's if he even left, because apparently he's back in SA and he lives in "Europe" whatever that is. Perhaps that's some small town in the Karoo.

Good to know taxpayer money is being spent widely:

Am I the only one to find it highly suspicious that our LS issues seem to have vanished, just like that?

I'm not an expert on power and I have no idea how true what I have heard, but I heard some guys fiddled with a power plant in Mpumalanga and bypassed some filtration systems - and this came from a pretty serious electrician that does work for us. I've heard plenty of rumors this week and conspiracy theories about the government doing stuff before the elections which seem like complete nonsense, but somebody turning off a system which would have prevented extensive pollution sounds a bit more realistic and like Africa to me.

Not sure how that relates to actually generating more power, but every time this electrician has told us what the bizarre causes of issues were on-sites, he was always correct. I'm actually humbled at how complex electricity and electrical equipment can be, if I hadn't seen most of these weird things myself, I would never had believed them.

Are you being serious? Cause if you are, just Google kusile

I know nothing, about it but he reckoned this was enough to generate enough electricity. I only mentioned it because I also thought the sudden availability was strange, and mentioned it in case somebody else thought it might be plausible.

Despite my reputation, I try not to talk **** on a forum :p

here I thought you had your mouth confused for your rectum. But you are correct it appears that the new smoke stacks can't really handle the throughput. However the scrubbers can't be bypassed so easily so a half truth until more evidence makes it way into the open.
