Its impossible to build up reserves for the elections. At the rate they are going, the budget will be finished next month. Then there will be no money for diesel until april I think which is the new budget which is still months before the elections. Even if they had all the month in the world, diesel will only lower it 3 stages. All we have to do is turn our fans on to negate it.
 
Attempted diesel manipulation wouldn't cause all this mad rollercoaster activity, methinks more likely new attempts to create Leftist climate change fear / confusion. They have the pursestrings, and they've got Squirrel making noise again this week as well.

Tin foil hat on: Demand is actually 5000MW less than what they say it is due to collapsed economy/self generation which is why they can jump 5 stages with the click of the finger.

On a day to day basis, pumped hydro has a much bigger effect on load shedding reserves than diesel. The fact that we get selective/delayed info across different sources, means that it is really impossible for the public to understand what is going on...
