Sucks balls to have power outages for 4 and a half hours at a time. Fibre is down... But I wonder how the poor operate under these conditions, the middle and upper classes can at least improvise when these things happen, but what do the poor do?

And what's more infuriating is that the ANC was warned in 1998 (24 years ago), that if they don't expand generation capacity we'll have problems by 2007. That happened, it's now called load shedding, going strong for 15 years... And the ANC is still doing nothing...

If you can believe the update then we should see an easing a few stages down by the end of the week. But his is Eskom so you can't be too sure. Their press conferences always leave you unsure.

And not very confidence inspiring that their acting GM for generation is a chemist. This is a person who must direct generation strategy.
