What stage 8 load shedding means for South Africa
Eskom on Monday moved to stage 6 load shedding for the first time, sending the the country into panic over exactly what that meant, and igniting fears of a second recession in South Africa.businesstech.co.za
It's not Tuesday yet.Thought as much. We have never had Stage 7, either.
The cynic in me says we get 3500MW back, and lose 4500MW...Supposed to be getting back 3500MW by this evening
Yup.. it's like driving a car for 15 years and never servicing it... then taking it to the mechanic and saying, fix it so it runs... the damage done in the years of non-service are going to only get worse as time goes on.The cynic in me says we get 3500MW back, and lose 4500MW...
Let's see what will happen tonight.
They clearly are losing control of the situation.
