I anticipated stage 7. I guess it's not cold enough. I have my aircon on getting the humidity down in the room before I go off at 4pm.Lol....everyone else seemed to anticipate it....
Not even 4pm yet...hang on...I anticipated stage 7. I guess it's not cold enough.
I have my AC on heat at 30c. Also going off at 4pm. So will turn it off then so the batteries don’t scream at me.I anticipated stage 7. I guess it's not cold enough. I have my aircon on getting the humidity down in the room before I go off at 4pm.

In addition, the failure of two generating units, one of which has since returned to service...
One was just a pretend failureWait... what...
Are they doing rush or kak jobs? Because it seems like they don't know what they're doing.

At this point I think they are just sticking some duct tape on the broken units and going; "yep, that should do it for a few more hours".
Wait... what...

Do they have respect to lose? This is news to meSo they gained a whole hour of S6, and lost another 10% of respect
Wondering if it was done to scare peeps into turning off heaters.
Aah you're back!Do they have respect to lose? This is news to me
They lost my respect when they spoke of wet coal.Do they have respect to lose? This is news to me
Surely it depends on what breaks?Yes, I noticed that as well. It's amazing that some units take days or weeks to get fixed while others merely take hours...

ftfy#LoadsheddingUpdate Monday,15 May 2023: Due to our incompetence, the supply for electricity is lower than anticipated. In addition to our usual incompetence, the failure of two generating units, one of which has since returned to service, requires that Stage 6 loadshedding be implemented at 15:00 today (previously communicated 16:00). Eskom will communicate another update as soon as any significant changes occur. We appeal that non essential appliances be switched off.
Yup, like De Ruyter stated in his book. Maybe it's f*cked, maybe.Surely it depends on what breaks?
There must be some types of failures that aren't complete disasters requiring days of effort to fix.
Would think so too, but starting a unit up again takes much time so not sure what qualifies as a breakdown either, surely not only a full stop?Surely it depends on what breaks?
