Not seeing much social media content from Eskom re the state of the grid. I can only assume that's because the only news they have for us is that this 5pm - 10pm schedule is likely to be with us for the rest of winter?

Yes, Eskom is undertaking a "we are broken" spam reduction initiative.

That it does, have seen it go from green to red and then black in one day. But also take the power alert as a guide not a definite.
 
Don't think it'll be stage 3,but yeah hasn't updated.
 
And updated though shedding still occuring by the looks of it.
 
When is the Koeberg unit returning? Must be soon now. Almost worth one stage of load-shedding. One good thing about the reactor is when it's actually up and running, it doesn't suffer weekly breakdowns like the coal plants...
