Guess it helps when parts of pta west don't have power for most of Friday evening and now

Likewise in a totally different area here by me, several areas off, probably about 2000+ households for between 6-18 hours depending on area

UPDATE: Stage 2 load-shedding from 4pm until 5am daily from Monday until further notice.

#stage2 load shedding will be implemented from 09:00 this morning until further notice. This is necessitated by a breakdown of a Duvha generating unit and the delay in returning to service another Duvha unit.
Eskom will provide a further update as soon as any significant changes occur.

of course it is

Scary thing is, it's only 600MW one unit, and with last nights stats that doesn't actually make sense.

This is what happens when you use wet coal...

Now I'm reverting back to Eskom cause yeah there just isn't enough sun to actually charge my batteries.

And the utter **** show continues. The next couple of days we're probably going to see multiple breakdowns at plants and the excuses will range from the weather to God knows what.
