It's the ANC's factional bs at play. Like already mentioned every single time Ramaposa sets foot on an airplane load shedding goes up. Its the one sides **** you to the other and Eskom is the cash cow in the middle. When one side looks away its the others turn to steal.

Just yesterday the presidency said the public has no ****ing idea just how far the rabbit hole goes.

They are literally shouting from rooftops by now yet no one is listening.

The rabbit hole goes straight to Mattress Bank!

But Stage 4? I've never seen Stage 4 when base is so close to demand. Also notice they are using some diesel (OCGTs), not no diesel. Something fishy is going on.
It's actually very simple. They have to use diesel generators in order to ensure that there's enough capacity for them to generate a sufficient amount of electricity without requiring any diesel because they've run out. Therefore, using diesel for their OCGTs is the only way they can keep the grid stable without using any of the diesel they don't have because they've run out and can't afford to purchase more.

Simple math. :cool::thumbsup:

The more you know...

Some extreme ideas, better to first sort out the basics. All we need is a simple question, and one rule - do you trust the anc and its puppets, or have you been given reason to start doing so? If the answer is no, stop thinking scientifically, especially when the info keeps on contradicting itself.

The rule - don't later forget the above.

And now a "rest" again....

Fascinating - how exactly does one have a rest from an emergency condition??:unsure:

Not a “rest”. A reset. Of their internal statistics so that they can break the streak of continuous hours of load shedding and have a circle jerk on Monday morning over a job well done.

I’m not sure who they think they’re fooling. Themselves, only.

4k just magically appeared online all at once out of thin air to cover loadshedding.... they're playing games
Not just that, they also don't say we're fine again - announcement of what stage is next is expected this afternoon.

Emergency OCGT diesel turbine update:

Here's an update on the diesel supplies for Eskoms emergency open cycle gas turbines, which were used extensively to limit the stages of loadshedding:

Eskom has just confirmed this afternoon in respect of Eskom diesel supplies for the emergency diesel driven open cycle gas turbines at Gourikwa and Ankerlig:

The diesel tanks have physically run out, and the diesel tanks for the Eskom OCGTs are empty.

Diesel supplies will not be replenished until 1 Apr 2023 at the earliest, or until someone provides Eskom with more money for procurement of diesel

Eskom says NO additional diesel has been ordered, and no ships with diesel will be docking at Mossel Bay and Cape Town as nothing is currently on order by Eskom or outstanding for delivery to Eskom.

The money wasted on diesel should have been used to effect some upgrades to existing stations or add capacity. Running diesel was just postponing the inevitable. I'm sure treasury will give them money to get more diesel though.

Source of this info?

Gimme more billions or the populace gets it...typical

I'm excited about our new lifestyle, 2030, eating dirt like Zim as nothing else will probably be working anymore.
No more carbon emissions
