I think the Gen capacity doesn't include emergency reserves so that's where the margin comes from when they run so close.

They didn't use any last night during peak, demand and capacity has remained relatively close and technically it could've been stage 2 from Tuesday night.

What gets me at the mo is that they must be getting this kind of feedback, so why no change in behaviour if they have been lying to that degree?
Could we be missing something / they don't care / they ignore public comment? Maybe 30%ers compile the stats as well?

But lying is still very likely anyway (definite in my mind).

They have to apparently be running 2GW in reserve, so it's possible that with the stage 4 it was needed, but I don't really know anymore, the power alert, the stats from the data portal and the spokesperson never match really.
