Due to further breakdowns and delayed returns of generating units to service, Stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented from 09:00 until further notice. Eskom will publish a full statement in due course.

Fun times!!

Jirr, these clowns don't know wtf is going on around them. Clueless A-holes. Got an message an hour ago that stage 2 is implemented, now a message that it's stage 4.

The funny thing is, during the higher stages of load shedding I actually tend to use more Eskom power, during a normal day of minimal shedding I'll use about 8 units, during a stage 4 day it'll go up to 12 maybe 13 units as I'm making sure my batteries are topped up for the evening sessions, cause we will also have an early morning session and I don't want to be caught without power for work.

Well Koeberg Unit 1 is going down completely tomorrow, although it has been reducing its output steadily for a while now so we can't simply subtract the 920MW from current base load generation.

Fools.

If only our government could have prevented this.

PS: Sarcasm is implied.

**** it. Don't even care anymore.

Probably stage 8 tomorrow when Koeberg goes offline.

Sometimes in order to fix something it needs to completely break.

Let it ****ing burn.
One unit of koeberg is going offline and it's been winding down the whole time, it doesn't just magically get disconnected, we're not going to have 900MW go off the grid suddenly (well from Koeberg anyway).
This is just freaking sheer incompetence.
