Units seem to have come back online, but they just don't seem to want to end the Stage 6.Units have got to have come back online, surely... praying for stage 4 this weekend...
Must be preparing for the industrial customers to open again next week (tho I thought they were already open going by demand)Units seem to have come back online, but they just don't seem to want to end the Stage 6.
How sad are things when we have to hope for Stage 4Units have got to have come back online, surely... praying for stage 4 this weekend...
Demand has looked about normal to be honest.Must be preparing for the industrial customers to open again next week (tho I thought they were already open going by demand)
Was thinking about the days when we were outraged over stage 2 (tho to be fair, JHB had 4-hour stage slots back then). Was getting a bit teary last night thinking about how far this country has fallen. Feels so **** to have to seek a better life in a different country nowHow sad are things when we have to hope for Stage 4![]()
It's what I thought as well... Unless it suddenly goes up to 32000 on Monday :sweat:Demand has looked about normal to be honest.
If you really want some depressing reading, then just read some of the annual reports from the early 1990's to see how Eskom was thriving ..... https://www.eskom.co.za/heritage/annual-and-statistical-reports/Was getting a bit teary last night thinking about how far this country has fallen.
Been there, done that. if you want some real suicide-provoking stuff, look at their forecasts for the rest of the year. Amazing how we have become the frog in the water... we're happy with just lower stages of load shedding...Units have got to have come back online, surely... praying for stage 4 this weekend...
It's eventually what happens in an abusive relationship. Forget about the good days and just pray for the less bad ones. The whole country must be a ****ing dream sample group for anyone studying Stockholm syndrome and the likeAmazing how we have become the frog in the water... we're happy with just lower stages of load shedding...
People doing their Job?The reports can pretty fun as well.
Things you will not see at Eskom anymore

I don't think they've thought this far aheadI honestly think they are going "short term pain for long term gain". Basically keep us at stage 6 for as long as is tolerable to do more advanced repairs, rather than putting a band aid on it. At least, I hope that's the case...
