Late april fools joke right?
Yeah, city power used to be fairly good with all this... just a few years back 2-4hours and whatever problem you had was sorted... now, if you go down outside of load shedding, 30-48hours easy before they even acknowledge the fault and send someone to 'investigate'. They also no longer work 24/7, only day shifts which just adds to the problemSo what I'm getting is the Eskom gives you load-shedding and then you get City Power load-shedding (unscheduled) on top of that...
Yeah amazing when the new mayor took over, but he's going to fix potholes with an appYeah, city power used to be fairly good with all this... just a few years back 2-4hours and whatever problem you had was sorted... now, if you go down outside of load shedding, 30-48hours easy before they even acknowledge the fault and send someone to 'investigate'. I watched my RA tar the road down from me yesterday... one massive canyon for 7/8years now, never repaired, they have now done it. Although I get why they repaired it, I do disagree with it. We pay some of the highest rates in the country now thanks to DA coming in and ****ing us over before ****ing off again, and we get 0 service, from water to trees, to streets. All this 'diy' does is set a standard, 'don't worry about fixing the road, the residents will get sick of complaining and do it themselves'. The roads need to crumble so the voters wake up and change their waysYeah amazing when the new mayor took over, but he's going to fix potholes with an app
