PowerBeam ISO 400 low throughput - not aligned

Hello all

Just deployed a PtP with PBE ISO Gen2's to send a 200/100 fibre internet connection over 500m with Complete clear LoS.

*Currently installled with "point and shoot" installation (no proper alignment yet - need to get some scaffolds to reach the height) and I get the signal and throughput as per the image:

Can I expect a dramatic increase in throughput to send this 200/100 connection fully once the antennae are aligned and get higher signal?

Yes you should see an improvement once LOS has been aligned correctly. If not then it could be something else

This is the Hplane from the powerbeam specs. (Meaning the radiation horizontally from the antenna). The veritical plane isn't much better.

What this means is you have to align the antennas up PERFECTLY to get the maximum throughput. Being slightly off will make the signal go from everything to nothing very quickly. As you can see , you maybe have 2 degrees tolerance. Thats it.
