Don't want to hijack this thread, but I am also thinking of buying the splitter. My dilema is that, I bought non-powered 1-2 splitter and pulled a 20m HDMI cable to my room. But now as soon as I have both cables plugged in, the 1 where the decoder is to the TV and the other to my TV. It gives me an error.

So here is the question, if I purchase one of these and plug the box into where the cable ends up in my room and then maybe extend another cable to my TV and another TV. Hope I am making sense.
