OK, you old hats may be able to help here. I've searched the forum, can't find much useful stuff.
Got a router, D-Link DI-704P, and set it for local LAN etc. No problems with DHCP or connecting to the web management on the 704.
Plugged my Sentech modem into the WAN port using the Ethernet cable.
Set up the WAN service on the 704 as Dynamic PPPoE, and put in my Sentech username and password.
I've tried Auto-connect, Manual Connect and When Needed settings, but no matter what, the modem will not connect - the green light just sits there blinking away.
What have I missed here? Have I done something daft?
