I saw some prawns at spar in like a zip bag thing -think it was pink prawns from Mozambique (spar brand)-anyway are they any good or is I&J better?

:o

Er, I reckon you're in a better position to tell us.

This is much like asking "hey, those samoosas that the chick outside that makro sells. Are they better than the frozen ones?"

A prawn is a prawn is a prawn.... :) :)

What are you using them for?

As do I. It's the sweetest part. If you can get past the thought of it, it's the best tasting part of a prawn - and many other shellfish actually. Langoustine heads being my favourite.

Up until a few years ago, many people refused to even consider eating squid heads - they're now the norm on many restaurant menus...

+1

Squidheads are now very common in most calamari salads and other dishes.

I don't mind them they are pretty tasty IMO.

I&J prawns? That must be gross!

I like prawns, just that we have it to often so I kinda get tired of it.
Just a note, we shouldnt eat the skin, it can tear open your insides... apparently.
