Preferred Conference/Seminar days

Okay - beeg mind change, you're all right concerning the "Is it still a conference if it's on a weekend" issue.
Friday for me.
I'll edit my original post. Need enough warining to put in leave - like 3 to 4 weeks warning.
 
I guess us Cape Tonions will be losing out on this one. :(

Just to give an opinion on the day ... I still think Saturday. I don't see how such an event can justify loss of productivity being on a Friday, unless this is your company's core focus area, then of course you'd prefer a Friday. It also depends for whom this event is targeted to - the industry (businesses) or individuals (like you and me)

Also, there might be people who'd come from other parts of the country to attend and so a Saturday would suit them fine.
