Well I'm a little confused now and need a bit of help.

I've recently bought my Vodafone 3G E220 router from a Autopage retailer and the lady that sold it to me said I just use normal cellphone airtime and load it on through my cellphone. I've also checked the Vodacom website on pricing for the bundle s on Prepaid. When I checked it, I became even more confused because Vodacom doesn't have for example R189 airtime, which is suppose to give me 500mbs etc etc.

So I've been buying R110-R220 at a time but it's finishing so quickly and I've been doing just small site browsing(no games, videos, music and downloads at all) and I checked my VMC Lite usage while I was on, In around an hour or so it had taken up about 50+-mbs but then it disconnected itself, I checked the airtime balance on my phone and was left with R0.19.

So my question(s) is, what the hell is going on? What the hell am I doing wrong? Is all of the above correct? What am I suppose to be doing if for example I'm suppose to be buying the airtime from a Vodacom outlet?

Thanks for any help. Matt :)

Use Internet Banking to transfer ZAR190.00 of airtime to your pre-paid number, then follow the instructions in the sticky FAQ thread for actually buying a pre-paid data bundle using airtime.

If you're using 50M bytes in an hour, I'd suggest you switch off auto-updates for Windows et al.; check for viruses and spyware; then see how your usage goes. With light browsing, e-mail etc. (no big downloads) my usage seldom exceeds 10M bytes in an 8-hour day. Or make that 10 ... :-)
