Prepaid 8ta data plans for iPad

Yip, no success. Wont let you register it on the portal saying "Invalid iPad sim ID/ID Number combination"
I cannot believe this. Even the reps at the iStore don't know what im talking about when i phone them!!

Guys, can I now load normal pre paid data onto my 8ta sim and still use it on my iPad?

Yeah, you cal load up normal bundles. Their mobile portal is pretty good so you can do most things via it.

I have coverage at home for 8ta but want the ipad deal for the MTN roaming!

The reps at the iStore no nothing about this 8ta deal! Lets hope the 8ta rep can come back to us here!!!

Hi 8ta,

The iStore at the V&A Waterfront has never received these sim cards even though it is listed on your webpage here: http://www.8ta.com/plans/ipad/

When I first started asking them there about purchasing this deal (last month or maybe the month before) I was told they would be getting them but they are not sure when.

Now they just say they have never received any sim cards and although they have 'heard' about the deal they don't know any more about it.

So what's the story here? Please either take their name of your list of stores supplying this deal or get some sim cards to them - it's been months now.

Has this situation been resolved yet? Since there are no iStores in PE it would be nice if 8TA would make a plan for us.

I gave up sorry. After trying multiple times to get the microsim ipad deal from the iStores in Cape Town I just gave up and went with CellC. Bit late now, lost interest in 8ta...
