Prepare for ADSL disillusionment

Sounds like the regulations amount to nothing except maybe a little more bandwidth every month.

.....

Thanks ICASA, for nothing.

Excellent Debbie. Think you could get this published in a few newspapers? M&G would be a good start (not sure that you'd get it in this weeks edition; try emailing it; might make it).

It realy is days like this that I wish I stayed in JHB so that I can go and blowup/deface/riot IKANNIE***MAAK's building and staff.

WTF IS that I see ?! OMFG it seems I***A is a hot air baloon factory.

Yay, uncapped local... oh wait, local still adds to your initial international cap. whoopdie doodaa

fcuking waste of time country this

People are welcome to copy and paste what I wrote above and send it to whomever they like, especially the media.

Debbie:

Problem is that I don't think they'll publish it if someone other than yourself submits it (some papers will phone/email back to ensure that it really was you that submitted the letter).

It really is an excellent response to ICASA's pisspoor performance. It deserves wide circulation.

Here's my litle mail to ICR@PA, it's not as elegant and "politly" rude as debbies but hell it gets the point accross.

You guys suck ass, I cannot believe after 3 years of talk talk talk talk you come up with these impotent ADSL regulations. How the hell do you go from a 5 star "draft" regulations to this piece of crap that effectively just saiz you can have more local bandwidth?!?!

Realy it seems to me that ICASA is just an extension of Telkom's money printing department. You are powerless and it seems we are at the mercy of giant corperation hell bent on sucking us dry.

Thanks alot for nothing.

lets organize a protest outside their offices

invite the media

i already have my banner, "ceo sleeping again?"

People... it's time to riot.
I'm with u skip...all the way. ICASA has reflected one thing about the country for me: If u don't resort to violence or intimidation, nothing will ever be done or improve!

Debbie rather don't send it. Wait till you're on the board than slap in their faces.

Lets also not jump to conclusions, this is still heresay and second hand, it may well be out of context. ICASA have also demanded costing information from Telkom, hopefully to be able to set wholesale rates.

I'm not saying don't flip out, I'm just saying not yet . . .

I'm saying blow up their buldings and assasinate their remaining staff.

uhm just remember its not printed yet, wait till 2morrow then go crazy on them.

I feel like someone who have been promised sex and then at the last minute after taking the time and effort with foreplay... be told "no sorry, you can only get to first base... I have a headache"

FAT IVY must be sniped first I know she had a hand in this cr@p.

is it inconceivable that telkom were bribed, coaxed, whatever by telkom... a lot is at stake for them! seems like a complete turnaround from the draft resolutions. i think paris should be dismissed... shocking!

Well..what's the point of ICASA now. Firing Paris makes no diff...having ICASA or not having them doesnt matter anymore. Except that our taxes fund them (and maybe some of our Telkom bills do too).
