But I think the least he has to do is resign, otherwise he will loose a lot of respect and support.
But the more good people that stay in the upper echelons of the ANC to help curb the corruption, the slower the decline. Him staying there and continuing to try do good is the best thing he could do. He needs to make a strategic move into another party at the right time. If he moved to the DA/any otherparty, he would quickly lose his influence and the public interest. He will get much more respect from me if he sticks it out there and then at the right time pulls the rug out from under the ANC, and moves to the DA to help swing a majority vote in their direction. That time is obviously not right now as the DA is not powerful enough right now. So he needs to swallow that bitter pill and keep on doing what he is doing.
