price for second-hand imac

Please help....:confused:

i have an imac with the following specs (have not got them all as yet) and am wanting to sell.

iMac G5
Model A1058
17" Screen

iMac 17FP/1.8GHZ/256/80/SD/PFC

1.8 GHZ
G5 PROCESSOR
512K on-chip level 2 cache runnung at 1.8GHZ
256MB (SUPPORTS UP TO 2G)
80GB Serial ATA hard drive
17" Scren LCD display
built in modem 56k


i also had more ram? i think added on, think it went up to 500MB, and it has OSX operating system, with CS3 and freehand MX. not sure if that counts??? (please don't laugh) :erm:

please send me any info regarding a price for it.

Those iMacs are lovely. You can upgrade them very easily. I upgraded my friend's to a 1Tb hard drive and 2gb RAM, and put Leopard on it. Runs beautifully. I'd say at least R2500-3000.

Hi

I'm very interested, we are opening a contemporary furniture showroom and basically are wanting a mac (because they look cool) that can be placed in one of our displays that will at most be used to brows our website. Are you able to post a pic of how it looks as that's basically what really matters to us.

the whole reason for the thread was to find a sort of average price/ to see what people would offer...

Nope tHat is a link to a file on your computer. You would need to upload it to the Internet.

I am quite interested in it and I am in Durban. Would like to know why price you would sell it for.

well i've had an offer of R5000 from pretoria.
