Prince Harry doesn't like "Paki's"

The British must really get over themselves.

To call someone from Pakistan a Paki is sickening ?

Yeesh, I'm as liberal as they come but during my army days I called my colleagues a lot worse things.

What a load of bullocks, it wasn't being used in a bad way, these men need to bond as they are in an wartime army, the same happens in rugby teams etc

If it wasn't royalty involved this tape would never have surfaced...

Let's face it, he should know better. Also keep in mind that this is the same idiot who wore a Nazi military uniform to a fancy dress party and you see a pattern of someone so self absorbed he doesn't care about anyone else cause well, he's royalty and above the masses.

And lastly, if this was said by a regular soldier he'd be kicked out of the armed forces. Don't place bets that this little inbred will receive the same punishment.

ROFLMAO.

And this comes as a suprize to you guys ?

If anyone finds this surprizing you have never been to the UK. All European white folk refer to the indians there as Paki's.

This is not something new at all

The name has been around since the 1970's when the only people to be seen sweeping and cleaning the hallways, corners, nooks and crannies of Heathrow Airport were "Pakis"

It's like them calling us Saffers.

There is nothing wrong with it. People are just to touchy

PC plod police are no doubt freaking out while the useful idiots will as always play their part

EDIT: Along with the sufferers of "white guilt"

So has the word K*ff**, you know, when the only people to be seen sweeping and cleaning the hallways, corners, nooks and crannies of Jan Smuts Airport were black.

Clearly you have never been to the UK

Like we refer to the take away shop here in SA as a Greek cafè or Porra Cafè. They refer to the Shops as Paki's shop. Nothing wrong with it. Durbanite, Charro, Boertjie, Darkie. All just names, no meaning to it.... People should leave their pettyness ...

It is the racists that complain about this type of thing.
The comment is harmless, like Saffers, Aussies, Kiwi's Yanks.

The "raghead" remark is without doubt offensive, but "Paki"? Two rather contrary definitions from Wikipedia:

Paki (plural Pakis)

1. (UK, Canada, offensive, racial slur) A Pakistani, or, more generally and incorrectly used, a person who is perceived to be from South Asian or the Indian Subcontinent origin which is still considered offensive.

Pakis

1. (Australia) The Pakistan cricket team. A friendly diminutive without any of the derogatory or racist overtones of Paki in British usage.

2. Plural form of Paki.

Just in case you were confused LOL! Derogatory, but not in cricket - how silly.

Obviously the UK is short of any real news at the moment. Then again, that PC plod station - Sky News - would bring something like to this to the front of their news because it would bring up their ratings.

people need to consider the context under which the words were used .... i mean I have friends, who say for example is a black guy and will in discussion refer to another black guy as a darkie, or a coloured guy who will refer to another coloured guy as a bushy or a white guy who will refer to another white guy as a whitey and a indian guy who will refer to another indian guy as a charo ...

Exactly

I for one take no offence to being called a Whity or a Boertjie in conversation with my friends at work. Nor do they if I refer to them as darkie, Charo or bushy. Now clearly Harry was talking to one of his friends in his squad. I honestly see no harm in it what so ever.

And Marine, the heading to the thread is sensationalist :p

No where did he say he hates/dislike Paki's

Here's the thing, I hate the royals and I'd love to see them get their comeuppance. If Harry gets in trouble for saying something that would be petty if anyone else said it, I'd be standing in line to light the bonfire. The fact that they set such high standards for themselves makes it even better if they slip and fall from grace.
I'm far from politicallly correct myself, but I know when to place a guard in front of my mouth whereas he and his dad seem have regular foot in mouth disease..

As for why I hate them - does the Anglo Boer War ring a bell? Even though they invented concentration camps they have never apologised.

Burn in hell Harry you inbred, burn in hell.
