Peter Stormare was the only decent character, Wentworth millers slow line reading made chewing glass more entertaining.
 
Ok...501 done & dusted. After a 8yr break all the guys are back! Micheal; Linc; Sara; Sucre; C-Note; Kellerman (not seen in 501) & a fav of mine T-Bag. Only one missing is Mahone who didn't sign on.

1st off I am a huge fan of the show from day 1. So my opinion may be slightly skewed. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's for the fan & plays out really well. The setting makes for good television. There are inconsistenties that I picked up but it's way too early to judge on only 1 epi. Needless to say I will be watching the next 8 epi's every Wednesday & adding my 2c to this thread.

PS: the enhanced intro tune is lovely.

PPS: Linc & Micheal are now Producers of the show...awesome!

Ok 1st episode but "inconsistenties" will be the death of the show in terms of viewership of loyal fans like you FiestaST.

Like this one ..
The grave site that was dug up by Linc, looks like its no longer in Panama or Miami next to the ocean as in the movie or last episode S04
 
I will rant here too. That 1st episode was a fking ABORTION. The worst TV I've ever seen. I want to say the writing is terrible, but surely that **** I just watched was not written by any conscious human being. What a massive disappointment.

It wasn't the best, but I didn't think it was that bad. Each to his own.

Yeah, I liked it. Haven't watched since the 1st season so it was cool seeing all the characters again and being reminded that it's quite a decent cast. Can't comment on the story yet since I haven't watched any of the other seasons, apart from the first one. I didn't even know that Michael was supposed to be dead, or that he had a kid. I was intrigued enough by the first episode that I will watch more, to see what happens next.

Seven years later, thanks to information provided by T-Bag, Lincoln and Sara discover that Michael is still alive in a Yemen prison
